LEE LEAVES COMMISSION

Commission Member Chandler B. Lee completed his term of office on the Commission on July 31. He was appointed by Governor Martin to the Commission in November, 1987 to fill the unexpired term of Ernest Pearson as one of the Commission's two public members.

During his tenure on the Commission, Mr. Lee was especially active in administrative matters and in promoting fair housing opportunities for North Carolina citizens. The Commission members at the July meeting expressed to Mr. Lee their appreciation for his service and contributions to the Commission during his term of office.
