The North Carolina Red Estate Commission regrets to report the recent deaths of former Commission members Kenneth R. "Cap" Smith of Raleigh and William C .Stoke s Of Reidsville.

Mr. Smith served as Chairman of the Commission from 1957 to 1967, and Mr. Stokes was a member of the Commission from 1977 to 1981, serving as Chairman in 1979-80
