Allan R. Dameron Legal Internships

Ryan G. Short of Gastonia and Sara Kroll Weed of Greenville received the first Allan Dameron Legal Internship awards in 2007 in memory of and tribute to former Commission Chairman Allan R. Dameron for his dedicated service in protecting the interests of North Carolina real estate consumers.

Commission Chairman Raymond A. “Buddy” Bass and the Commission welcomed Lydia Dameron and her son, Demian Dellinger, who were present for the presentation of the awards. Short and Weed are third-year law students at North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina, respectively.
